Product Description:

The Stron Smart Data Concentrator Unit STC18-A is specifically engineered for Smart Metering applications. It functions as a gateway that connects metering devices with AMR (Automated Meter Reading) and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) systems, facilitating seamless communication between them.

The STC18-A supports two-way communication, enabling data transmission from metering points back to the AMR/AMI systems. It is responsible for various critical tasks such as setting parameters, collecting data, transmitting information, storing data, managing meters, executing GPRS information tasks, and overseeing RF network management.

Additionally, the ST368 model optimizes communication by utilizing LoRa RF technology for downlink communication to smart meters. For uplink communication, it relies on GPRS, ensuring efficient and reliable data transfer throughout the network.


Features:

The system is fully compliant with the STS standard, ensuring compatibility and reliability in various applications.

It supports LORA-RF downlink communication to smart meters, enabling efficient and wireless data transmission.

For uplink communication, the device utilizes GPRS technology to connect with a head-end AMR/AMI system, facilitating seamless data exchange.

The data collection capabilities include recording total consumption as well as detailed historical consumption data on a daily and monthly basis.

In addition, the system monitors meter parameters, status updates, and provides real-time data readings. It also automatically records and uploads tamper event information to maintain security and integrity.

Installation is straightforward and user-friendly, thanks to its design compatible with BS mounting, making it easy to set up in various environments.

Product Overview: Data Concentrate Unit

The Data Concentrate Unit is designed to efficiently aggregate data from multiple sources. It comes in two storage sizes: 2GB and 4GB, catering to different usage requirements.

Electrical and Environmental Specifications

This unit operates within a voltage range of AC160V to 300V and supports a frequency range of 45Hz to 65Hz. It functions reliably in a wide temperature spectrum from -25℃ up to 70℃. Additionally, it requires a humidity level of up to 95%.

The maximum operating current of the device is 500mA, while in sleep mode, it consumes as little as 0.2mA, ensuring energy-efficient performance during idle periods.

The dimensions of the Data Concentrate Unit are 158mm in length, 110mm in width, and 71mm in height. It is designed to be installed via suspension in an open area without obstacles to maximize its 1000-meter downlink communication range.

The internal power supply switch supports a wide voltage range and contributes to the overall lighter weight of the device. Furthermore, a separate GPRS module is housed within a transparent clamshell protective case, offering added security and durability for this critical component.
